Funky, One-of-a-Kind Jewellery
For Funky, One-of-a-Kind People.
I started making things when I was a kid, we didn’t have much money and if I wanted some doll clothes or furniture for my doll’s house then I had to learn to make it myself.
When I was older and discovered punk and goth I wanted to stand out from my friends and be individual, have my own look. I soon found that a Northern seaside resort was not the place to find unique items to enable me to do that, so I took to making my own. I made clothes and jewellery (to my parents’ immense chagrin) and I fell in love with owning things that nobody else had.
I still love that feeling and so I never make identical items. I may make similar things in different colours but I never make the same thing twice. All of my items are one offs and are dictated by the materials that I have to hand. Rather than the usual way of designing things and then sourcing the right materials I prefer to buy big old mixed lots of things from auctions or second-hand shops and see what I’m inspired to make from them. People give me things to use like old jewellery and magazines and occasionally I just find things while I’m out walking. This way of working means that I can make a wide range of styles and pieces from delicate little items to thumping great big statement pieces.

Beware
I have made every single piece of jewellery on this site, if you want to share an image please give proper credit and link back to here. Do not try to pass off my work as your own, I will find you and believe me, you definitely do not want that to happen.
